Now thats Goddess Durga. Ahana & I had been to my mum's place for a few days when my brother was here in town. And we got a chance to show Ahana Yakshagana.
She thoroughly enjoyed the show which was put up by a troop which had come from Karkala. They enacted the story of Goddess Durga & Mahishasura story. She liked the story, the strong Mahishasura & the strength of the Goddess. After the show next day, my mum made her a Trishoola (Durga's weapon) with a piece of cardboard. That's it...for the next few days, we had to see Goddess Durga dressed in my dupatta with her weapon standing and jumping around.
